TITLE:Don't miss the Saratoga Reads book fair this Sunday, Dec. 6
SUMMARY:Don't miss the Saratoga Reads book fair this Sunday, Dec. 6
DESCRIPTION:Don't miss the Saratoga Reads book fair this Sunday, Dec.
6\nSaratoga Reads will launch its sixth year with a book fair featuring
activities for the whole family on Sunday, Dec. 6, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., at
Barnes & Noble, Route 50, Wilton.\n

The Book Fair has become the
traditional kick-off to the Saratoga Reads “season” and a way to
introduce the community to each year’s winning book and junior
companion titles. As usual, it was a fun and festive event featuring
music and entertainment throughout the day. Hundreds of people from the
community came out to “shop for Saratoga Reads” and enjoy the day’s
events. Barnes & Noble donates a portion of all designated proceeds
to Saratoga Reads. Thanks to everyone who supported our Book Fair this
year!

One of the highlights of the Book Fair is the Expressions of
Caring presentations by Saratoga Springs School District students in
grades K-12. All students whose entries are selected by the school
district for publication in the Expressions of Caring journal are invited
to present their art or written work at Barnes & Noble, and the
presentations are always a popular program.

The photo here shows
students in grades 6-8 who presented their winning journal entries, along
with Marjie Herman, librarian from the Maple Avenue Middle School, who
coordinated middle school participation in the Expressions of Caring
program.
