Family Story Time incorporates early literacy concepts for all ages — this is a great option for families with multiple children or who want their children to experience a variety of books and activities. This month will feature a fox craft inspired by our SaratogaReads JR. book, Pax. Recommended for children ages 0-5 with a caregiver. Registration is not required, but space is limited based on room capacity.

The Soul of an Octopus details Sy Montgomery’s deep, personal research and friendships with octopuses at the New England Aquarium. The book focuses on the intelligence and emotions of octopuses, especially through specific residents like Athena and Octavia. The aquarium even named an octopus after Sy!
