Join us for a special SaratogaREADS! event featuring beloved naturalist and bestselling author Sy Montgomery/ In celebration of this year’s community read, The Soul of an Octopus, Montgomery will share insights from her remarkable journey into the world of these intelligent, curious, and emotionally complex creatures.

Through vivid storytelling and thoughtful reflection, she’ll explore what octopuses can teach us about consciousness, connection, and the wonders of the natural world. A Question and Answer session and book signing will follow the presentation.

This program is presented in partnership with Saratoga Springs Public Library, SaratogaREADS!, Friends of the Saratoga Springs Public Library, and Skidmore College. Free and open to the public. All are welcome to join us for this unforgettable afternoon of discovery and conversation.
