Rana will read from her new collection of poems, A Loaf of Bread, which touches on memory and loss regarding Syria, her former homeland.
Local Syrian-American physician Rana Bitar is also a poet whose work has been published in prominent literary journals. The reading will be followed by a Q&A and a book signing.
