Walk to Congress Park
Do you have an insatiably curious youth that always is asking questions and learning about the world around them? Related to our Saratoga READS! selection, bring your inquisitive youngster along so they can learn about different species of trees simply by looking at the bark!
Children ages 5-12, accompanied by an adult, will meet in the Crawshaw Story Room and walk to Congress Park with an Environmental Educator from Wilton Wildlife Preserve & Park who will demonstrate how to identify trees by their bark. Along the way, we’ll gather materials to make a twig vase. Please bring a small jar for each child. Please register each child who will be attending (adults do not have to register) either online, in the Children’s Room, or by calling 518-584-7860 extension 305.
